The Shelter is currently open: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10AM - 1PM

Heading North from San Antonio on US 281, take a right hand turn onto FM1863 (East). Go two tenths of a mile and turn right (South) onto Wiley Road. Proceed another two tenths of a mile on the gravel road. Go across the cattle guard at the top of the hill and then turn to the left. Stay to the left until you see the entrance to the Dolores L. Caldwell Shelter. Please latch the gate behind you so if a dog gets loose they don't escape.
